Principal's Message
January 2012
Dear Coyote Creek Families,
Happy New Year to everyone! I hope that you enjoyed a wonderful and relaxing winter break. We were excited to reopen the doors of Coyote Creek this morning and anxiously looked forward to hearing all of the magical stories about the holiday season.
It is with very mixed emotions that I share the following news that I have recently accepted a position at the Contra Costa County Office of Education. My last day at Coyote Creek will be at the end of the month. I wanted to inform the parent community first and will be talking to students at the end of the week.
This was an exceedingly difficult decision because Coyote Creek has been my heart and soul. My time spent here has been an amazing journey and I will always hold a special place in my heart for the children, staff, and families in this wonderful community. It has been a pleasure to work with such dedicated parents who support the school through endless volunteerism, and have also moved mountains to help maintain the funding to enhance the extraordinary education that our staff provides your children.
I know that Coyote Creek will continue to flourish because of the strong school vision that is an integral part of the school. I will deeply miss the beautiful, smiling students and the endless hugs given on a daily basis! I will treasure the wonderful memories of Coyote Creek, an incredible place that I have called “home” for the past five and a half years.
Warmly,
Marsha Tokuyoshi
