Music

Jenifer Bertolero

more graphicsHello, my name is Jenifer Bertolero, and this is my tenth year teaching music in the San Ramon Valley Unified School District. Before I was a teacher here at Coyote Creek I taught vocal and classroom music at Country Club Elementary, Walt Disney Elementary and Iron Horse Middle School.   I was educated here in the San Ramon Valley Unified School District grades K-12.  After graduating from Monte Vista High School, I attended the Conservatory of Music at the University of the Pacific where I graduated with a Bachelor of Music Degree with an emphasis in flute performance. Next I went on and earned a Master of Arts Degree in Music with an emphasis in flute performance at San Jose State University.  During the 2008-2009 school year I was honored to be named Country Club Elementary Teacher of the Year for the San Ramon Rotary Club.  I love holidays, birthdays, animals, listening to music, gardening, having fun and going to concerts!

Computers

Stephanie Preston

computer girl gary.jpgI am very excited to work at Coyote Creek as the computer teacher. I have been with the school for one year now and love working with your children. Previously, I worked as a computer teacher and computer tech in the Saddleback Valley Unified School District at the elementary level. Prior to that, I worked in the corporate world for 20 years as a computer trainer, curriculum developer, Lotus Notes application developer, and Lotus Notes system administrator. While my experience has primarily been working with adults in a tech-oriented environment, I can honestly say that working with children in the computer lab has been the highlight of my career. Children today are very comfortable using technology and I am honored to work with your children to give them the technical foundation they will need throughout their education and beyond.

Science

Pamela Crowfoot

more graphicsI have been teaching Science for the past 12 years. I received my Bachelor of Science degree from Iowa State University and obtained my teaching credential from University of Phoenix. I am a very dedicated teacher and in 2006 I was flattered to be named Coyote Creek Elementary Teacher of the Year for the San Ramon Rotary Club. I love working with children and have a great passion for Science. I am married and have 2 boys in college.  I am excited to be teaching at Coyote Creek and am looking forward to a wonderful year.

PE

Erich Ackermann

misc picI have taught elementary physical education for 8 years in Hayward prior to coming to Coyote Creek. I'm really excited to be a part of this active, supportive community.

Before my teaching career, I worked in the fitness industry as a fitness/personal trainer and spent a few years working at Club Sport of San Ramon. I also coached high school cross country/track for 8 years at my alma mater Moreau Catholic in Hayward. One of my passions is running, and I have been fortunate to compete at the high school, collegiate, and local club levels. As you can see, health and fitness is something that has been part of my life for many years.

My wife and I have recently become parents to our little baby girl so we are learning a lot about parenthood. Finally, I love watching sports, and I'm a diehard SF Giants/49ers fan. I would like to thank you for the warm welcome that I have felt already.

I am thrilled to be apart of this amazing school.  I have been in this district for three years; substituting and misc picteaching 6th grade PE at Windemere Ranch Middle School.  I am the varsity assistant baseball coach at Monte Vista High School and spend my summer coaching the Hoots Baseball club.

I moved to Danville when I was 10 and attended Sycamore Valley Elementary, Los Cerros Middle School and Monte Vista High School.  I then played baseball at D.V.C. and Whittier College, where I received my B.A. in Kinesiology, and masters in Education.

I love all sports; esp. baseball, basketball, football, tennis, frisbee golf, and ping pong. My favorite teams are the S.F. Giants and The Georgia Bulldogs college football team.

I'm excited to start my second year here at Coyote Creek! This will be my fourth year teaching as I previously taught at Foothill Middle School for two years in Walnut Creek.

I grew up in Milford, Michigan and received my degree in P.E. at the University of Michigan where I also ran cross country and track and field.

I'm a very proud member of the staff and love being a part of the San Ramon community. What I love most about teaching is seeing the progress that the students make over the duration of the year.  In my spare time, I enjoy running, traveling, reading and cooking new dishes. I look forward to another wonderful year with the Coyotes!
