President's Message

President message!

Hello Coyote Creek Families!

First and foremost, I want to thank you all for your support of the PTA. We are doing very well with memberships! I also really appreciate your willingness to use Konstella this year! It has made our job as PTA volunteers much more streamlined (and much easier)! I hope that you aren't feeling bombarded with emails. I try to space things out so that you aren't getting too many notifications at once.

The beginning of the school year has been hard but rewarding for us on the PTA Board. We had many people leave their positions this year as committee chairs and that has made us scramble a bit, but I am heartened by the amount of people who have stepped up to help out. Many of these parents have never been involved in PTA before, and they are doing a great job.

Our school is a 10/10 and a California Distinguished School because of the  community support. The teachers and staff work very hard and are amazing at what they do. But this is a community effort. We don't get very much state funding compared to other districts, but the generosity and hard work from our community is what makes our school so amazing. With that said, please make sure that you donate to our learning fund if you can. CCLF pays some teachers salaries! Without these donations, cuts will need to be made.  We have been a little low on donations so far this year. I expect a letter will be coming out soon from our CCLF president with more information.

I will end with saying thank you for a great beginning to the school year. Now we enter Fall, which to me is always a time for reflection, thankfulness, and new beginnings. I hope you can take time to stop and enjoy this magical season with your families and appreciate how very fortunate we are for this beautiful community we have.

Please read on for FAQ's, upcoming important dates, and District/PTA news.
